Consecutive Interpretations
Consecutive interpreters wait for the speaker to pause before interpreting. No equipment is necessary. The interpreter may interpret after every sentence, or may take notes and then interpret several minutes of speech at once.
Consecutive interpreters are bilingual by definition – but just being bilingual is not enough. Professional interpreters invest years in training and practice to reach the standard we require.
Consecutive interpreting is often used in court hearings, depositions, hospital appointments, telephone calls, interviews, and meetings.
Regardless of the language or context, inlingua Utah offers services for both simultaneous and consecutive interpretation.
Our staff of interpreters has been carefully selected for their experience and professionalism. They are thoroughly trained and prepared for a wide range of assignments.
