LEGAL TRANSLATION

The residence shall be considered “Substantially Complete” when occupancy of the Residence is allowable under the rules, ordinances and laws of the appropriate civil jurisdiction in which the Residence is located. In the absence of such governmental regulations, Substantial Completion shall be when the Residence is ready for occupancy and only minor work remains to be completed, corrected, or replaced. Subject to the exceptions referenced in Section 12, the Substantial Completion Deadline shall be as referenced in Section 22 (d). Seller shall provide Buyer notice of Substantial Completion of Residence. Seller will use its best efforts to complete construction of the structure prior to the completion date. Seller agrees to take reasonable steps to have residence fully constructed within seven months of the issuance of the building permit from the local governing authority. Seller shall request the permits be issued as Seller’s schedule and manpower allow. The specific date of which a permit, approved by the local governing authority is actually issued and paid for shall be at the Seller’s sole discretion. The time for completion shall be extended in the event of interruption of work resulting from weather conditions, acts of God, labor disputes, a national or limited emergency, or causes beyond Seller’s control for a period equal to the duration of such an interruption.

MEDICAL TRANSLATION

Coughing serves as a protective mechanism to the lungs to remove secretions. Cough should not be suppressed during the daytime and should only be suppressed at night if it prohibits sleep. There are two kinds of cough suppressant available: dextromethorphan is available over the counter and codeine is available by prescription. Dextromethorphan is preferable in children under nine months old since there is a small risk of respiratory suppression from codeine in young infants. Throat lozenges may improve daytime cough since many coughs are caused by throat irritation.
Runny nose is a result of inflammation in the nose caused by a virus. Treatment will never completely clear a runny nose and may cause side effects such as irritability. Treatment should be considered if runny nose interferes with sleep or eating or the secretions are profuse enough to be menacing. Wiping the nose is the best treatment. Forcefully blowing the nose or sniffing secretions may increase the risk of sinus infections by forcing secretions up the sinus drainage pathways. Young infants have especially great difficulty with nasal congestion interfering with breathing, sleeping and feeding because they are obligate nose breathers and do not form oral airways easily.

TECHNICAL TRANSLATION

To investigate the transport properties of a quantum system one must generally evaluate the current flow through the system, and this requires that one examine systems that are out of thermal equilibrium. A common situation, in both experimental apparatus and technological systems, is that one has two (or more) physically large regions densely populated with electrons in which the current density is low, coupled by a smaller region through which the current density is much larger. It is convenient to regard the large regions as ``electron reservoirs'' within which the electrons are all in equilibrium with a constant temperature and Fermi level, and which are so large that the current flow into or out of the smaller ``device'' represents a negligible perturbation. The reservoirs represent the metallic contacting leads to discrete devices or experimental samples, or the power-supply busses at the system level. Consequently the electrons flowing from a reservoir into the device occupy that equilibrium distribution which characterizes the reservoir. In a simple one-dimensional system with two reservoirs, the electrons flowing in from the left-hand reservoir have k > 0 and those flowing from the right-hand reservoir have k < 0.
